This course provides a solid foundation in microelectronics and integrated circuit (IC) design. Students will explore semiconductor physics, device modeling, and IC fabrication technologies, progressing from basic concepts to advanced design methodologies. The course covers both analog and digital circuit design, mixed-signal systems, and VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) techniques. Through ten focused lectures, participants gain practical insight into the design, analysis, fabrication, packaging, and testing of modern integrated circuits—preparing them for careers or advanced study in microelectronics engineering.
